Laura Alcalá Baker

Laura Alcalá Baker is the Casting Director and Artistic Programs Manager at Victory Gardens Theater. She is a freelance director and most recently directed the World Premiere of Isaac Gomez’s The Way she Spoke: A Documythologia for The Greenhouse Theater’s inaugural seasonShe served as an Artistic Associate for B Street Theater for three seasons, directing pieces such as Equivocation, The Giver, 11:11,  and Collapse. Other select Chicago productions include, Sean Graney’s There is No Message in the Message (The Gift Theatre’s opening festival, TEN) and Project Potential by Isaac Gomez (Broken Nose Theatre).
