Erika Burke Rossa
Erika Burke Rossa is a writer, director, actor and producer. She attended The Juilliard School (dance division) and earned her BFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Erika has worked as an actor on both stage and screen for over two decades. Her most recent role was in the independent film LISTEN, currently in post-production. As a writer and director, Erika’s short film THE HAPPILY EVER AFTER, starring Amy Hargreaves, won the NYLA International Film Festival and was part of the Cannes Film Festival SFC. Erika currently has a television series in development with Tonik Productions and BoomGen Studios. As recent transplant to the North Shore from New York City, Erika is excited to share her experience, knowledge and love of acting with the students at ATC!
About the course
In this class, whether students have a lot of experience or are just breaking into the business, they’ll learn and refine a variety of skills to take their craft to the next level. Students will explore monologues, scene work, character development and more.
At the end of the semester, they will show their work in a showcase of scenes and monologues.
