The Professional Summer Intensive (PSI) was designed in 2004 by Founder/Director Carole Dibo with a focus on helping high school students get inside the business with a curriculum that pushes them to an industry level of professionalism.
Monologue, scene study, accents & dialects, and on camera technique are all covered. As part of their professional preparation, this intensive includes a session with a top headshot photographer. The students conclude the 2 weeks in a showcase for family, friends and invited Chicago professionals.

Dive into the world of comedy and satire. Use physical play, improv, sketch writing, and performance technique - all critical skills to foster a unique point of view in comedy writing and performing. This class caps off with fully written sketches to be performed for friends and family.
Our unique summer program gives students the platform to write, create, and act in original films straight from the students' imaginations.
Over the course of two weeks students write, rehearse and film their pieces with a professional crew. Following post-production editing, this class culminates in a screening event and a downloadable link for your home movie collection.
